Sprocket was malnourished and terrified when I brought him home. He apparently 'couldn't' gain weight – but gained 1kg in the first 10 days. He was terrified of loud noises, being touched and just an all around anxious mess.
He is learning to play, learning to trust and learning to show his personality. He has turned from a shadow to a cheeky little sweetheart. He is confident, brave and sweet. He still has his little eccentricities but it just adds to his charm.
He helped heal my heart from the loss of my last dog in 2021 and gives me a reason to get out of the house and socialise.
We are trying new things (just started sniffer dog training!!) and meeting new people and their dogs. He is my friend, my companion and my confidante.
