After losing my dog of 16 years, I decided I'd foster dogs with Second Chance Animal Rescue in 2015. 7 year old Sammy came along early 2016 from the pound, full of fleas and feeling anxious and confused. However once he settled in at my home, he became such a happy dog with a youthful personality that I fell in love with. Soon after Sammy became my foster fail (ie I adopted him). 2 months after adopting Sammy, I got a job…..in Singapore! So Sammy came on the journey with me, thanks to Jetpets – who got him there safe and sound. He embraced the Singapore life and the weather; he loved laying poolside with me when we were home at our condo, and also being the socialite visiting Dog Parks and cafes on the weekends. We have since returned back to Melbourne, he is now 10 years old and still full of energy and love. He has brought so much happiness back into my life, and he means everything to me.
