We believe she was used for backyard breeding. She came to us starved, with mange, yeast infections and grass seeds in her ears and two snapped ligaments in her legs. She was terrified of everything and still lactating. She was with us for 2 years as a foster before we adopted her. I left for 2 months to Italy and was terrified she would be adopted while I was gone and I wouldn’t get to say goodbye, there were a lot of tears about that. Then for Christmas my mum sent me the letter confirming her adoption. She is the best thing to happen to us, we get home and she’s climbing up to greet us. We even have a stroller for her since she’s getting older but she lives to go on walks. I would love to win this prize for my mum and stepdad because I know how much they would love it
