We adopted Lenny during lockdown in 2020. I was stood down from my job temporarily, we already had 2 cats Alison and Malcolm however my husband had always wanted a dog. Whilst our cats are loveable and are good company, I thought it was the best time to introduce a puppy into our family. I searched on our local adoption websites and Lenny came up (not even a photo) so on Anzac Day we went down to his foster parents home and fell in love! We took him home that day. He helped fill my days in lockdown while we weren’t allowed to leave the house, he never failed to put a smile on my face and still does today.
He has had some down times but has always remained in good spirits, he could definitely have his own TV show with his funny personality and of course all the adventures as well.
He has a beautiful nature and is so gentle especially with our cats and 4 month old baby girl.
Lenny has changed our lives in so many ways and we couldn’t imagine life without him.
