Bertie was super timid when he first got home and as you can imagine quite confused. From being picked up by POUND Rescue from Griffith pound and then with a foster family for 4 weeks, he then found us.
My husband and I fell in love with him before we even met. He is the sweetest, cheekiest, most beautiful natured dog who enjoys swimming, chasing balls!!, going on bike rides, going camping and playing with his new friend Kenny (most recently adopted).
He has made me appreciate people who run rescue places and pet rescue. I am so thankful for the effort from Deb at POUND Rescue who managed to save Bertie from the pound. Without her, i wouldn't have found this amazing dog. I can't imagine why anyone would have left him in the pound in the first place! Or why anyone would leave an animal at the pound.
He has made himself right at home, he snuggles in bed with us at night, snuggles on the lounge and basically thinks he owns the place!!
I couldn't imagine my life without him. I love him so much and would do anything for him, he is my best friend
