The Promoter (“Promoter”) is Foresight Marketing and Communications Pty Ltd trading as Pets 4 Life Australia (Pets4Life) ABN: 25102896677.
To be eligible to enter the Foster Carer Story, you must be an Australian resident 18 years or over and have adopted a pet (“Entrant”).
Entry is free.
The promotion starts at 9 am Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) Monday 3 May 2021 and closes at midnight Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on Saturday 31 July 2021(“Promotion Period”).
Employees of the Promoter, the Promoter’s associated companies, the Promoter’s sponsors associated with this competition, and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
Entrants must provide a valid email address. Entry is limited to one entry per valid email address during the promotion period.
The Entrant is required to submit their story of foster care in 200 words or less. The Entrant is required to submit a photo of their pet. A video clip is optional. Entries must be the Entrant’s original work.
Competition entry procedure: fill in the online form via the Rescue Awards website from 9 am Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”)Monday, 3 May 2021 to midnight Australian Eastern Standard Time (“AEST”) on Saturday, 31 July 2021. The Entrant must accept the Terms and Conditions to be a valid entry.
Entries will not be accepted via email.
Once entries have been received, information cannot be changed or added.
The decision of the judging panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The judging panel consists of Nadia Crighton, Pet Insurance Australia Spokesperson (ABN 85113507850), and Cathy Beer of Pets4Life (ABN: 25102896677).
The four Finalists and the winner may be required to engage in publicity activity by the Promoter and be used for marketing purposes. Information that is deemed confidential will be respected.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and reserves the right to disqualify any individual Entrant or group of Entrants for tampering with the entry process and may require proof of email address before awarding a prize.
If we are unable to provide a winner with a prize (or part of a prize), we will supply an alternative prize (or part of a prize) of similar monetary value. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and are not redeemable for cash. If a prize has not been claimed it will be distributed at our absolute discretion.
Five Finalists will be announced on 15 September 2021 via the Pet Insurance Australia Companion Animal Rescue Awards social media and a media release. The Finalists will be contacted via email or phone within 48 hours of the announcement.
The Winner will be announced at the Rescue Awards Ceremony in October 2021. The Winner will be contacted via email or phone within 48 hours of the announcement.
The winning Entrant’s name and their State will be posted on the Pet Insurance Australia Companion Animal Rescue Awards social media and the website.
The prizes will be delivered to the finalists and winners by our Supporters as listed in points 17 and 18 above.
Pets4Life will take all necessary precautions to ensure our Supporters deliver the prizes to the winner within a suitable timeframe. Pets4Life will not take responsibility for any prize lost, damaged, or delayed by our Supporters.
