Where to even begin? I have wanted to adopt a dog for a while but I wanted to make sure I could be the best owner possible as it’s a life long commitment. So when I finally felt ready the universe sent me Zeus. I will never forget seeing his photo on Pet Rescue in January 2022. I just knew in my heart he was supposed to be with me. His face was gentle and sincere, but I could tell he had been through hell. Since Zeus entered my life he has really come out of his shell. Don’t get me wrong it has taken a long time and we have a long road ahead but he is now able to sit in a room when I have people over rather than run away. He loves to play and run around and be a bit cheeky. He loves his food and lots of cuddles. Zeus is still not comfortable around most people and cars and loud noises but he is making incredible progress and I love him more than I ever thought possible.
