Our beloved Violet was in the pound for a month before we found her. We can’t believe such a beautiful, clever and good natured dog could be left behind. Violet tells us every night with a paw in our leg and head rest on our knee how grateful she is to be loved.
Because Violet was surrendered, we had paperwork from her previous family and contacted her 1st Mother to let her know that she is adopted, happy and much loved by her new family. We have since become Facebook friends and often share pictures and anecdotes of her activities and behaviours. Violet was a county girl and now she has a life on the beach with swims and duck dives under the waves. We know Violet had a hiccup in her early days but now lives her best life. Violet certainly enriches our life too.
