I fostered turtle and ger sister 8yrs ago.
Both girls born with radial agenesis. (No radial bonesin her front legs)
I failed and adopted both.
Sadly turtles sister passed away at 18mths.
Turtle continued to thrive and became the matriarch of the house.
No matter what obstacle was put in her way turtle continued to shine and push herself.
From wrestling her brother to climbing a 6ft scratching post.
Even when she started to have mild seizures and began lifelong medication she still soldered on.
Turtle is proof that special needs animals are just as capable as able bodied animals. Turtle has determination i have never seen before.
She is cheeky, demanding and so lovable.
The bond i have with my little princess means so much to me.
I feel like the luckiest girl in the world to have had her in my life.
I believe everyone should have at least one special needs animal in there lifetime.
It makes you appreciate life, makes you not sweat the small stuff and makes you love unconditionally
