Rufus was advertised on the internet, looking so miserable & malnourished you could see every rib & back bone. Rufus was a big baby at 1yr 1 mth, only weighing 24.6 kilos, we had to meet this beautiful but sad face. Rufus was petrified to come to the fence because there was a man there, so I sat down on the concrete to coaxed him to me, within seconds he was there letting me pat him. It took awhile for him to warm to my son but eventually he did & we brought Rufus home. After a couple of months he was a bouncing 34 kilo. We sent photos to RSPCA so they could see how well he was doing. Rufus was to scared to even go walking it took a long time & patience. People at the dog park would comment on him and I told them his story. Now at the dog park people comment on how well we have done, it makes us proud for giving this boy a happy life after his terrible start. Rufus has filled our lives with love again, and we have made him so happy. Everyone who meets Rufus loves him.
