Roy was found in the Sutherland shire and was going to be taken to the pound. My partner and I already had two rabbits but decided to take Roy on as we didn’t want to see him end up in the pound. Unfortunately he was not getting along with our other two rabbits Pip and Mac so we thought the best option would be to surrender him to the rabbit sanctuary and foster him until he found a good home. We ended up falling in love with Roy and new it would be impossible to give him up. Our little girl Pip tragically passed away and now him and Mac have finally bonded. Even though Pip is gone and we are still heart broken, Roy brings us so much joy and seeing his bond strengthen with Mac each day has helped us so much. He is the most gentle soul who loves to lick us and wakes us up every morning zooming around the house. He is now apart of our family and we can’t imagine life without him.
