We first noticed the beautiful Miss Lira (formally known as Kira) at the start of June 2019 on the Ballarat Animal Shelters Facebook page. There was something about the sadness in her eyes that broke my heart. The decision was made to meet her the following week after lengthy discussions with the family. We already have 2 gorgeous and extremely spoilt German shepherds. We instantly fell in love. We knew we could give her the care and attention she deserved as an older dog (Lira is 7) she’s only been with us for less than a week, but she is a perfect fit.
