Kiki and Samantha (Queensland)

I have always wanted a pet but due to renting I could never do it, recently, my parents bought a house so I decided to finally adopt through RSPCA. Being the only cat person in the family, I was always told it’s better to get a dog. I stood my ground and adopted our newest family member Kiki anyway, days before Kiki coming home, I showed my mum my kitten’s photo and SHE FELL IN LOVE. When I brought her home everyone treated her like a baby, they would buy treats and cat stuff like her bed and her food mat. My family isn’t close due to falling out over the years, but now they would come to my room and bond over Kiki, which everyone seems to love. We have lived in the new house for almost a year and it’s only been 4 days since I have adopted Kiki and my only regret is that I wish I would have done it sooner!
