Kida has without a doubt saved me from self destruction. Yes it’s cliche but we really did save each other.

The first couple of days were heartbreaking as kida whimpered and hid from me trying to work out if I was going to hurt her. I was in tears because she would barely leave the driveway before she panicked, took the lead in her mouth and pulled me back home. Now, 4 months later, I cry happy tears because she never wants to go home even after a 2 hour walk 🤦🏼‍♀️ .
And to finally see her interact well ( but cautiously) with men is bliss. She has gone from a growling at men to seeing that men can be good humans too. From being super noise sensitive to finally passing by school yards almost with easy. Sometimes. We all have good and bad days hey.
Kida is my reason for getting up in the morning and living and loving my life again. Watching her push her boundaries makes me want to push mine. I can’t wait to us continue improving at life.
