Isabella's story is one we in the veterinary industry hear all too often….

"She needs to be euthanaised because I can't keep her anymore".

Ridiculous. Sickening. Disgusting. Unacceptable.

At not even 2 years old, Isabella was brought to the vet to be euthanaised but luckily my amazing teammates quick thinking meant her previous owner signed forms to surrendered her to the clinic instead. Her life was saved but in limbo. No home. No family.

I took her home to foster until a new home could be found but in a matter of only a few days, I knew I had already found that home with me and my little family.

Isabella loves to snuggle on my lap and sleep on my chest. I stay so still and silent as to not disturb her whilst she naps and I just stare at her in awe of her beauty and think back to how differently her life could have been.

She loves belly rubs and will let me kiss her cheeks all day. She purrs SO loud! She loves a good butt scratch and has become best friends with my other rescue cat, Annabelle. It melts my heart watching them play together.
