After 7 months of grieving the loss of our 12 year old Min Pin, my husband & I wanted to embrace another of "mans best friends" into our lives.
Finding the GAP website with photos & personality descriptions by the foster carers of the adorable greyhounds looking for their furrever home was just wonderful! Being drawn to a photo of a pair of fawn coloured hounds, a male named Copper & a female named Holly, the team a GAP were so supportive, helpful & professional.. We met Holly & Copper at their foster mothers home & within minutes knew we had found new family members!
Four years later, Holly & Copper have enriched our lives showing us their love & loyalty plus laughter at their antics.
They had both been rehomed a number of times before coming into our home together, naturally each had trauma to overcome. ie: Copper has become so much more confident, having been terrified of motorcycles in the past, he now runs up happily to welcome us riding our Quad bike. Holly has also become more relaxed, no more big holes being dug or toys destroyed.
We have all been blessed to have found each other.
