I was searching for a new friend when I found Holly at a Pound in York an hours drive away from Perth in WA so I went to meet her and we connected straight away. Holly was 5 years old then and 3 years on we have become the best of friends. Holly is a loving, cuddly, sensitive dog who is always here for me. She saved my life earlier this year when she found a lump in my breast which turned out to be Stage 4 Metastatic Breast cancer. It had already spread to my lung and lymph nodes but treatment has been going well and the metastasised cells are now gone. I rescued her from the pound but she saved my life.
