I volunteered to foster cats with Maneki Neko and my first foster was a little 7mth old girl called Emma. I noticed quickly that she was really wobbly on her back legs and on taking her to the vet found that she had a neurological defect that affected her balance. It doesn't affect anything else, she's a happy, smart, cheeky girl with just a little case of the wobbles! Unfortunately, with a medical issue no one was enquiring about adopting her… But after a few months I fell in love and adopted her myself! Since then we've worked together to foster 5 other cats needing a loving home! She helps show them the ropes, building their confidence before going to their forever homes, and I keep them all fed!
