After the loss of my mum & our fur baby just prior, my dad & I were in need of another critter to love, so, after 5 months, I called Best Friends store to see if any rescue cats were available. They had one kitty left, I said it is mine! Never knew the sex or colour until the store opened next morning & there was a beautiful boy, all alone, waiting for love. The love, cuddles & joy Charlie has brought to our lives is indescribable. He has completely filled what was a terrible void in our lives. Charlie is a social butterfly when anyone & their dogs come by. We have spent all our lives rescuing cats, dogs & any creature needing help & a loving home & the love they gave in return was beyond beautiful. My mum always said, "A house is only a house until you have a pet, then it becomes a home".
