I have so far fostered seven puppies through SAFE Carnarvon and each one has left tiny little paw prints on my heart!
I am a dog owner already, but fostering additional dogs has allowed me to help others find the perfect companion and there is comfort knowing I have helped seven well deserving animals have the life they deserve.
When I hand the pups over to their new adopted families, the joy on their faces eliminates any sadness of having to let the pups go.
Hopefully in a other year or two I will be up to foster nimber fourteen, although I hope community education about desexing may eliminate some of the animals requiring foster care.
