Axel was a lonely, malnourished, anxious boy. He came to us a bit broken but loved the attention, his sister Roxy showed him how to be a doggo. We treated his skin condition, he itches and smelt so bad. We worked out he needs a single protein diet. He looooovveesss his bed, his daily walk and his morning treat. We discovered he had extremely poor vision and one severe cataract and another coming in his better eye, he just saw shadows. My partner decided to pay for cataract surgery and the first time he ‘saw’ me I cried. He lives his best life, seeing the world and being much loved.
