She’s in a home now after almost 4 years in the shelter. Abused, starved, mistrustful of men prior to arrival at the shelter in 2016. She’s been improving on her manners and we’re working on getting better! She’s now more active and is not as overweight as when she was in the shelter.

I’ve been volunteering in this shelter for over 2 years now and she and I have had a bond since day 1. I finally found a rental that allows for a dog (thank you to my amazing new landlord) and picked Angel up the following week! She makes me laugh, forces me to exercise more often and is honestly the best thing that has happened to me in my life!
