This is for Rescue Groups that have been operating for over 36 months. Entry by self-nomination.

Outstanding New Rescue Group

This is for new Rescue Groups who have been operating for 12 – 36 months. Entry by self-nomination.

Outstanding Animal Shelter

This is for Animal Shelters that take in surrendered, abandoned, and stray animals, and made a positive impact. Entry by self-nomination.

Australian Pet Welfare Foundation Award for Councils

This Award is for all local governments (councils) that have implemented a change which has made a positive impact on the outcomes for companion animals in their community. Entry by self-nomination.

Innovation in Companion Animal Welfare and Management

This category is open to rescue groups, animal shelters, council-run animal shelters, and animal management departments that do things differently internally to improve animal welfare outcomes. Entry by self-nomination.

$

Working with the Community to keep People and their Pets Together

This is for organisations/individuals including rescues, shelters, councils, vet clinics, and others who have implemented an initiative in the community to help keep people and their pets together. Entry by self-nomination.

$

Volunteer of the Year

This is for an outstanding team member who volunteers for a rescue group or animal shelter. Nomination a volunteer by a colleague/team leader/manager.

$

Refuel Creative Digital Marketing

This is for Rescue Groups and Animal Shelters that use digital marketing in creative, and effective ways to make a positive impact. Entry by self-nomination.
