Dr Leigh Davidson
Founder, Your Vet Online
Dr Leigh Davidson is a veterinarian, founder of Australia’s first 24/7 online vet service Your Vet Online and regular vet for Channel 7’s Weekend Sunrise. Dr Leigh established Your Vet Online so that everyone always has access to expert veterinary care that is convenient and affordable.
Born in New Zealand, Dr Leigh grew up surrounded by animals and decided that she was going to ‘be a vet’ by the age of four. Having worked in many countries over the years Dr Leigh has been associated with some of the best racehorses of our time as her role as a racetrack veterinarian in New Zealand, Canada, Dubai, and Australia.
With vast experience in all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr Leigh has worked with a number of organisations including the SPCA in NZ, RSPCA and NSWPW to promote animal welfare.
While currently pet less, Dr Leigh is chief aunty to many of her friend’s furry pals, enjoying nothing more than looking after them when their hoomans are away and teaching them new tricks.
