Dr Anthony Bennett
Co-star of Village Vets, Veterinarian at Berry Vet Clinic
Dr Anthony Bennett is a veterinarian and the co-star of TV series, Village Vets Australia on The LifeStyle Channel.
Born in Sydney, though spending much of his time on the family farm in Foxground and later Nowra, Anthony always knew he wanted to work with animals.
Anthony has worked at the Berry Vet Clinic since graduating with First Class Honours from the University of Sydney in 2004. In 2007, the practice opened the Kangaroo Valley Clinic to better service the agricultural areas of Kangaroo Valley and five years ago opened a third practice, All Creatures Clinic, in the coastal area of Shoalhaven Heads.
Taking a share in the practice in 2008 with now-retired veterinarian Dr Geoff Manning, he today co-owns and operates the practice with Dr Bryden Krebs.
Anthony is an accredited veterinary equine dentist who does a lot of prophylactic and corrective treatment in horses in the Shoalhaven and Illawarra (Athony in action pictured). His work with horses does end there. For the last 10 years, Anthony has been on both the cattle and horse panels for the Royal Easter Show. He is also an an honorary vet at the Berry Show.
As an Australian Accredited Veterinarian (AAV), Anthony has been busy with export dairy heifer work to facilitate Australian stock being flown to South East Asia for inclusion in dairy herds there.
